10 start-ups in Luxembourg by Vivatech

Under the pot, magic potions boil: Vivatech is the Covid page, from this Wednesday June 15 to Saturday, for the last day open to the general public.

Among the 2,000 start-ups and 3,000 VCs (venture capitalists) expected at the Porte de Versailles-or online for some of the exhibitors-10 Luxembourg start-ups traveled on the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and of Luxinnovation. They will meet in the Hall, section B25, of EuropaTech.

-JobFirst, which allows you to create a CV in five minutes from your smartphone or computer, with the idea to suggest talent and find a job based on your skills and less on your experiences as an element of difference;

-Greenworlder, a social network coming this fall for users dedicated to changing their behavior for a greener and fairer world;

-Augment, a proptech that has made a mark on the destruction of the center of Beirut and offers 3D modeling;

-Databourg, a spin-off from the University of Luxembourg that specializes in Earth observation and especially in rainfall;

-Gamma AR, a proptech that lets you track everything on a construction site and therefore speed up the construction site by reducing errors and problems. He was among 10 finalists in the Luxembourg round of the Start-up World Cup, organized by Pegasus Ventures in EY;

-Roomate, another proptech, that solves the difficult problem of managing multiple assets by offering a single platform for discussion and delivery of documents. He was also a finalist in the Startup World Cup;

-Nexten.io, to deal with the difficult issue of recruiting tech talent;

-SpaceMission, a space tech capable of providing useful data on various sectors;

– Scroble, the new fashion platform to make phygishopping trendy.

A massive program

The organizers of the show in Paris chose six verticals:

1. The Race to Net Zero Emissions. For example, the French company Interstellar Lab, in collaboration with NASA and Cnes, will begin unveiling the BioPod, one of the world’s most advanced aeroponic greenhouses for deployment on Earth, and on other planets in future. . Three start-ups acting for a more environmentally friendly society are also present: Urbanomy for carbon strategy, Carbo for evaluation and Actéon Farm for compensation. Swiss company Climeworks will showcase its CO collector2 exclusively in France; the Spanish company Bioo will come up with its interactive installations that will transform the natural organic decay of plants into an energy source; while British startup Pentaform is making computers accessible to everyone and more responsible for the planet.

2. Mobility rebounds. Among the innovations on display, the Japanese Poimo’s inflatable electric vehicles; the bicycles – and their tires that take pollution into the city – from English start -up Go Rolloe; and Norwegian start-up Jetson’s electric-powered personal Evtol. Audi will share its “Audi skysphere concept” for the first time in Europe.

3. Future of work. For the second year, VivaTech will re-launch its Jobboard to highlight tech and digital job offerings.

4. Inclusion is a mindset, with two priority targets: youth and women. VivaTech is launching the Girls in Tech program, organized in conjunction with the WoGiTech collective, which aims to introduce more than 3,000 middle and high school girls to the digital world. For the fourth consecutive year, in partnership with 50inTech, the Female Founder Challenge will take place to facilitate meetings between investors and start-ups and expedite funding of women-led start-ups .

5. Innovative technology: Web3. A Web3 innovation Park hosted by Binance will showcase the most advanced start-ups and innovations from the blockchain, crypto and NFT ecosystems. Meta, formerly Facebook, will show its perspective on the metaverse. LVMH will showcase a variety of metaverse applications for the world of luxury, in part through its new virtual muse whose mission is to convey the message of group change. Start-up Stage11, which is building the future of entertainment by offering a new way of experiencing music through a mixture of gaming, mixed reality and metaverse technology, will showcase its innovations.

6. Here begins the digital decade of Europe. VivaTech has launched the fourth edition of the Next Unicorn Awards. This prize aims to promote the European tech ecosystem by highlighting European scale-ups with high potential.
