Concretely, Atos and OVHcloud announced that they have entered into a partnership in the field of quantum computing for the provision of the Atos quantum emulator in the OVHcloud cloud, “have service”. The statement notifies that “This first European will make quantum emulation technologies more accessible, thus expanding the ecosystem of players involved in the development of quantum technologies. “By simulating a real quantum environment, the system aims to replicate different quantum computing techniques. Equipped with the unique power of the BullSequana X800 SMP server, the QLM (Quantum Learning Machine) achieved market -leading emulation capabilities, covering three different quantum programming modes (the port model, the quenching and the analog model); with QLM deployed in OVHcloud, users will be able to simulate circuits up to 38 qubits with double precision, and quantum annealing problems will be solved (quantum annealing) up to 5000 qubits.
Scalable and interoperable, Atos QLM allows the development of quantum software layers independent of the hardware platform, in program mode, quenching and analog, thanks to its unique patented quantum compilation technology. This will also allow for the first applications optimized for first generation processors known as NISQ or Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum.
By choosing Atos technology as the anchor for its future developments, OVHcloud will soon be able to offer quantum computing solutions in the form of Notebook Jupyter, offering developers easier access. -access.
