It doesn’t matter where you build it.

1. Sell training online

Selling online training is the holy grail of the web entrepreneur. Why? because:

  • You are in control of the sale prices and conditions of the sale (we will see in the following methods that this does not always happen)
  • Your margin is huge because since it’s a digital product, you have almost no value in labor
  • The e-learning sector is growing rapidly. You need to position yourself here, this is the future!

How do we do that?

I thought it would be easier to tell you about it in the video. So you can see the whole process for creating a website and selling products in the video below!

However, creating and selling e-learning training is not perfect.

That, it will take you time. You need to start by creating an interested audience (it’s long). And then you have to create the content (and that’s too long).

Then, training vendors sometimes have a bad reputation. They are often referred to as scammer and dreamy sellers. Yes, yes, but most are honest and have a real ability to pass.

Make sure you are one of them.

Finally, opening a website and creating a distance learning course costs money and requires some technical skills (even more so than the methods below). You will need to master some marketing tools to offer a professional experience to your students and connect your payment method.

To guide you through this forest of web marketing and set up a fantastic website, I wrote an article summarizing the 13 tools I use for my own online training.

2. Use advertising to make money on the web

Let’s move on to the most well -known way to make money on the web: advertising.

The best known, certainly, but not all are the most profitable web merchants. Bagkos.

Realize: you will receive an average of € 0.10 for 1000 views. If you want to earn € 1,500 per month, you need… 15 million monthly visitors. That’s all.

Unless you have a site like Le Monde, you won’t get there right away (if any).

Examples of advertisements can be found on the Journal Le Monde website

Small clarification: this business model is only valid when you can place advertisements, so only a priori on your websites, blogs and YouTube. In fact, you have no control over the code of your Instagram page for example.

How do you put it there?

You need traffic. Too much traffic. So create content that is compelling.

In your virtual store, you can enter Google Adsense advertising distributor codes.

If you go to YouTube, you can monetize your channel with a few clicks (provided you meet certain criteria).

3. Build an online affiliate business

Affiliates are the big unknown in online business. It is selling someone else’s product or service to get a commission on sales. You are like an independent seller, but internet version.

An affiliate is an online business strategy where the affiliate sells a product or service to an end customer.

Again, you need to start by building the audience. And if possible, a suitable audience (in a particular niche, on a specific theme).

You will then promote products that might be of interest to your community, sending them to a personalized link for sale away. This is the personalized link that will allow the seller to count your scores.

When I started the affiliate, I followed Emma’s little video course, which I recommend. You will find a link to register for free at helpful resources at the bottom of this article.

One word of advice: you can use affiliate from scratch to create your audience. how By interposing yourself between the seller and the customer.

4. Write sponsored articles for e-commerce business

Last but not least, sponsored articles on websites (or sponsored posts if you are on social networks).

What is that about? The advertiser (a brand) pays you to write content that promotes it.

You can do this by canvassing directly with companies you are interested in, or by registering on networking platforms (such as Seeding Up or Victoria Talents).

This is a method that is widely used on Instagram, Snapchat or YouTube for example. If you’re interested in this function, I recommend Magalie Berdah’s book that discusses influence. This may seem light at first glance, but it provides very relevant information! The link is in the resources at the bottom of the article.

Here again, you must have a specialized upstream audience. In fact, the price at which you sell your sponsored content largely depends on the number of people this content reaches. The larger and more specific your audience is, the more you will be charged.

Personally, this is the way I don’t like it, because you’re clearly selling your time for money. You don’t benefit from an impact of leverage to create a profitable business. This business model will give you the 24 hours you have in a day. This is not my idea of e-commerce.

Useful resources for creating an online business

NB: (special web store) learning how to create a suitable site and then manage its content to have good natural reference from search engines is essential to create an e-commerce that store.

In fact, properly identifying your new merchant site using SEO is a marketing strategy that will bring unlimited potential customers to your e-commerce blog.
