US streaming tech giant Conviva has launched large -scale streaming measurement analytics in Japan

92% growth in streaming minutes, as reported in the State of Japan Streaming Report for Q4 2021, supports the company’s decision to invest

  • In Q4 2021 (October to December), the total increase in minutes streamed was +7% worldwide, +0.2% in the US, while Japan saw an incredible increase of +92%.

  • In particular, minutes streamed on TV increased +110%, and the nation’s total share in minutes streamed increased 24 times compared to the United States. This increase seems to have been influenced by sales of large connected televisions in Japan.
