“We have a complete, coherent and adapted project to make Corsicans happy”

– Why did you decide to run for the legislative election?
– It is the logical continuation of a commitment to serve others for many years, first in the relevant environment, then in the field and more specifically in service to Corsica. However, acting on the consequences is no longer rational, if we want to improve the situation, we must act on the causes.

– What is, for you and for the RN, the main issue of this election?
– This is important for Corsica! My man takes second place. All the country’s economic indicators are in red: 10 million are poor, 6 million are unemployed and 4 million are poorly homeless. Moreover, the erasure of our model of civilization worries me. Violence is everywhere, the word respect will soon disappear from the dictionary if we do not act. The traditional type of politics has a heavy responsibility, such as the Nationalists who betrayed their promises to serve Corsica for the benefit of a new clan.

– The Marine Le Pen wave has battered Corsica in every presidential election since 2012, but there has never been an RN parliamentarian. Has the situation changed now?
– Since 2015, the National Rally has had almost no normal functioning on the island. Since the end of 2020, we have organized the federation and we are in a good job. The Marine score in Corsica also reflects strong RN activity across the island. We have a complete, coherent and adapted project to make Corsicans happy.

– Eric Zemmour made an interesting score for Corsica. The RN rejected the alliance at the national level, what about at the local level? Do you think you benefit from his support?
– We have a good relationship with Olivier Battistini, the manager of the Reconquête en Corse, but there are also differences that we need to overcome in the future. They are not opponents, but competitors.

– Doesn’t Laurent Marcangeli’s surprise candidacy, which is hard to beat, close the election in Ajaccio?
– After swearing that only the city of Ajaccio was interested in him and made him happy, Laurent Marcangeli showed Jean-Jacques Ferrara, and others, that friendship does not exist in politics. His ambition was not to be a deputy, but to participate in Macron’s government. If his ambition is legitimate, his way of acting with his friends is less so. When he supports the policy of the Franco/German couple, which leads us straight to the economic wall, it must be said that another policy, based on the re-industrialization of France and localism, is possible. Today, the report is terrible for the friends of Marcangeli, Germany accuses an excess of 228 billion euros in its foreign trade balance and France of 80 billion euros of deficit. We’re the couple’s turkeys, in other words … For me, I’m running to win. I will ask the voters who trusted us in April and prove to them that another policy is possible.

– Who did you choose as a replacement?
– Ms. Ariane Natali, a dynamic, smiling and charming woman, retired executive in the field of public relations, and has been a housewife for 20 years to raise her 3 children.

– What issues will you campaign for? Nationals? local?
– The two hold hands. Locally, Corsica must be given a way to definitely solve problems about island prices, the waste problem, heritage rights, access to land, prospects for our youth and our the elderly, etc. We are the only one with a complete project that considers all of these areas.

– Marine Le Pen campaigned in defense of purchasing power. You speak out against pension reform. Which steps do you think are most important?
– Pension reform is cynical and extremely unfair, as is the fate of our pensioners. Our measures will restore their purchasing power so they can live with dignity after so many years of work. This is not a right, but a duty we have to our elders, everywhere.

– What local measures will you defend?
-The France Zone that will allow Corsican companies to fight unfair competition from posted workers thanks to a tax system adapted in Corsica while promoting local procurement. It will also allow young people to create their business without being overwhelmed with burdens, from the first few weeks. Finally it will allow traders, workers, liberal professions, to breathe frugally and use the money not taken from them to modernize, rent, buy walls if they have the funds. The possibilities are many. We will also defend all national measures that have a major impact for Corsica, such as, for example, the reform of inheritance law or the reduction of VAT to 5.5% on basic necessities, including gas, electricity and fuel.

– What is your position on the negotiations on autonomy opened by Emmanuel Macron?
– We are for further decentralization with a strengthened method of control. The path of autonomy to legislative power is a step towards independence. The wheeler-dealer and mafia-like atmosphere should make some people think.

– Do you think you are in the 2nd round?
– Yes! Corsicans sent a message to the entire political class in April. They want to respect who they are, be protected and live peacefully on a prosperous island. This is the meaning of our proposal for a concordat with institutions that no longer live face to face, but side by side.

– If you were elected, what would be your priority as MP for Corsica?

– To propose legislation against monopolies, effectively combating mafia excesses and porosity against certain elected officials. Corsica deserves better than the current situation.
