Funeral of Amadou Soumahoro: Prayers and blessings for the remaining souls of the deceased

The President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara and his Vice-President, Tiémoko Meyliet Koné shared in Friday’s prayer.

Bakayoko Aboubacar, the chief imam of the great mosque of Séguéla, dedicated his sermon on Friday at the end of human earthly life. On this subject, he maintains that Amadou Soumahoro, son of Worodougou, died in accordance with the divine will. “Allah gave birth to him. And this is what called him back. This is the cruel fate of every person in the world. As believers and devout Muslims, we must accept this statement regarding our religious beliefs “, he launched in the Koyaga language, in his sermon, to the Muslim believers, among them the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara and his Vice-President, Tiémoko Meyliet Koné.

Two senior State figures shared the front row with the President of the Court of Auditors, Kanvaly Diomandé, the President of the CEI, Ibrahime Coulibaly-Kuibiert, the Minister of State, Minister of Defense, Téné Birahima Ouattara, Councilor Ally Coulibaly, Minister of State Budget and Portfolio, Moussa Sanogo, Minister-Governor of Woroba, Moussa Dosso, and President of the Worodougou Regional Council, Bouaké Fofana.

The mayor of Koumassi, Ibrahim Cissé Bacongo, the ministers Mamadou Touré, Amadou Coulibaly, the vice-president of the National Assembly, Adama Bictogo, also attended this “Jummah” prayer.

Around 12:50 pm the Head of State, Alassane Ouattara, and his Vice-President walked the perimeter of the mosque in the presence of people who mobilized in front of the main entrance of the religious building.

Presidents Ouattara and Meyliet Koné both wore white boubous and wore hats of the same color. The personalities of the state, as soon as they arrived, were transported to the place reserved for them.

For security measures, the interior of the mosque is exclusively reserved for members of the government, senators, deputies, some executives and elected officials, senior Woroba officials and family members of the deceased.

In front of this beautiful world, all dressed in white, for the most part, Imam Bakayoko Aboubacar called on Allah to show mercy to Amadou Soumahoro. “The scriptures say that every soul can taste of death. And our son has gone to the afterlife. We pray for the rest of his soul; May Allah make his grave easier and open the doors of ” Firdaws ” (Editor’s verse of paradise) for him “, he pleaded.

The religious leader, in his sermon, also spoke about the importance of pilgrimage for Muslims. According to him, it is God’s obligation for all believers to go and worship him in the holy places of the city of Mecca, in Saudi Arabia, if they have the means. “Pilgrimage is one of the five pillars of Islam, our religion. However, it is forbidden to take money from a forbidden source to go to Mecca, ”he warned.

The main imam of Séguéla, took the opportunity to ask God to always have his hand in Côte d’Ivoire so that the country can remain in stability and peace. “We also pray to Allah to grant good and long health to President Alassane Ouattara so that he can continue to lead the country and complete all his projects for the happiness of the Ivorian people”, he pleaded.

The country’s authorities such as the Prime Minister, Patrick Achi, the President of the Senate, Jeannot Ahoussou-Kouadio, the ministers Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani, Myss Belmonde Logboh, Bruno Nabagné Koné, Kouadio Konan Bertin, the chairman of the executive board of the Rhdp , Gilbert Kafana Koné … also attended the prayer.
